Margaret & Brian's Wedding
Pictures from the Wedding and Honeymoon are up! If you have pictures from the wedding, please send them to us, I'd like to create a gallery of everyone's pictures here!
Thank You to all of our family and friends who made our wedding so special. People came from around the globe and Margaret and I feel so lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives. Everyone braved terrible conditions to be there and did so cheerfully (or at least said so while they were talking to us) and we cannot express the gratitude and love that we feel for everyone who helped make it such an unforgettable day for us.
We would also like to say thanks to everyone involved behind the scenes for helping to make everything so memorable. We received a lot of compliments about how well done everything was, so we want to give credit where credit is due. Margaret and I believe very strongly in supporting local businesses, and we hope that you'll try to support these people for the strong work they did at our wedding:
Jim Rosengarten - Officiant - who pulled the entire thing together masterfully.
Company's Coming - Caterer Extraordinaire - please visit them at the Terrace Street Bistro
Danoff String Quartet - Ceremony Music - who risked damaging their beautiful instruments to play at our wedding
Root's & Groove - DJ - who got the party started and made sure it never stopped.
Catherine Hennessy - Photographer - and assistant Kristin for the amazing photo work.
Leslie Freinha - Hair Stylist - found at DeCarlo Hair Salon, responsible for the bride and groom's wonderous dos.
Pure Design - Florist - for the beautiful bouquet, bouttenieres, and arrangements.
The Night Kitchen - Bakery - for a gorgeous and yummy cake.

We'd also like to extend a very special thank you to our parents, Marsha Hogan, Eileen Gallagher, and John Gallagher for their love and support over the years. Also, to our sisters, Catherine Hogan and Vicki Lager for always being there for us, and for being wonderful. To Brother-in-Arms Jeff Lager for bearing rings where his son couldn't, and to our nephews and niece, Laila for being the best flower girl ever, Wolf for his humor and helping his Aunt make it to the aisle, and to Larz Lager for staying up way past his bedtime to be the cutest ringbearer ever.
To our good friends Dr. Andrew Sohl and Susannah Kuncio for their wonderful reading, we wish them all the best next month as they walk down the aisle themselves. To our dear practically-family (dare I say practifamily?) Ginny McIntosh and Phil Scranton, who not only opened their home and cooked their hearts out the day after the wedding to make a magnificent brunch, but also for Phil's unflappable efforts in providing all the wines at the bar as well as the Prosecco we enjoyed at the toast.
And speaking of the toast, to Carolyn Silver who gave a wonderfully thoughtful and personal toast to us, as well as staying with Margaret the entire day, making sure she ate, and found the humor in all the prep work involved, along with Mandi Barry, who's smile lit up the room throughout the day despite tropical storm conditions.
And last, but never least, to Ilisa Stalberg and Jessica Macleod, our Girl Fridays on Saturday, who helped arrange all the paper lanterns throughout the tent and downstairs, hauled liquor hither and yon, took care of us, provided practical and thoughtful advice, and generally saw to all things needing seeing to without hesitation. To you two, we give our heartfelt thanks and lifelong adoration.
We're off to Hawaii for the honeymoon, but check the site often as we'll be posting pictures from the wedding and honeymoon as they come in. If you have pictures, please send them to us! We'd like to get people's collections of photos, so please either burn a CD/DVD and mail them or email them to us if possible.
We're still feeling the glow from family and friends since the wedding and we thank every one of you with much love and awe for being in our lives and for making our most special of days perfect.
